Halima Abdul-Jaleel

M Ed, LPC-A

As far back as I can remember, I have had a passion for social service efforts in my community which led me to pursue careers in special education, parent advocacy, and mental health counseling. I have experience working with people from many different backgrounds and am skilled at supporting children, adolescents, and adults struggling with anxiety, depression, disordered eating, grief, emotional regulation, family conflicts, neurodivergence, addiction, and PTSD. My goal for you is that we form a genuine partnership in your healing journey and work together to achieve your wellness goals. Taking the first step towards a happier and healthier you can be intimidating and navigating life’s complexities is scary alone. I am here to help guide and support you so you don’t have to face these challenges alone. As a partner in your healing and growth, I employ a collaborative, integrative approach that combines practical life skills, evidence-based modalities, and a client-centered approach. This is your safe space where you can control what and when you share. Regardless of your past or current feelings of fear, shame, or guilt, you will always be met with empathy and understanding.
